Dr. Caleb Schoonover

Dr. Caleb Schoonover completed his optometry degree at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry.

While in school, he was involved with local student government, serving as liaison to the national optometry student association. He was then elected as national president of the American Optometric Student Association and represented optometry students in the United States and Canada.

Dr. Caleb specializes in primary eye care and completed his externship at Triad Eye Center. During this time, he worked extensively providing pre and postoperative care for cataract and Lasik patients.

Dr. Abby Schoonover enjoys all aspects of primary eye care. She specializes in ocular disease management, specialty contact lens fittings, and pediatric eye care.

Dr. Abby attended optometry school at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she received academic awards and was recognized for her involvement in student leadership groups.

She specialized in pediatric ocular development and completed her externship with a distinguished vision therapy clinic. While in school, she volunteered for a medical mission trip to provide eye care in underprivileged countries.

Dr. Maya Georgallis

Dr. Maya Georgallis joined the Fort Collins community in June 2025 after earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University. During her time at Ohio State she received multiple academic awards including the Excellence in Primary Vision Care Award.

She was actively involved in the optometric community throughout her education, serving on the executive boards and as a dedicated member of several student organizations including Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Optometry Ambassadors, the Ocular Disease Club, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

Dr. Maya completed clinical externships at Miamisburg Vision Care in Ohio, the Hampton Veterans Affairs Hospital in Virginia, and various specialty clinics at Ohio State. She was trained with a strong emphasis on pediatric and binocular vision care, dry eye management, and ocular disease.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Maya is excited to explore all that Fort Collins has to offer and looks forward to becoming an active part of the community.
